Why should you exchange your green residency card for a TIE card?
From the 6th July 2020, UK citizens already resident in Spain can apply for the TIE Foreigners Identity Card. The new process was brought in to comply with Article 18.4 of the Withdrawal Agreement (WA) with the UK leaving the European Union. The stickers of your car: The ITV Sticker
An ITV sticker is given with a pass sheet once a vehicle passes successfully an ITV test. If your car is less than four years old, a sticker on the windscreen is not needed because the first ITV test has to be done when the car reaches this age. Other kinds of vehicles have different periods of non-obligation of ITV test since they are bought new. If your car already passed an ITV test, you should be given an ITV sticker, which should be placed in the upper right (for inside point of view)

The environmental Sticker must be placed on the windscreen of your vehicle, in the lower right corner. If the vehicle does not have a windscreen, the environmental Sticker must be displayed in a visible place. The environmental Stickers objective is to identify the most environmentally friendly vehicles in high pollution areas, mainly large cities with traffic restrictions.
