Carrying hazard warning triangles is a must. You need two of these in your vehicle at all times. It’s a good idea to practice putting them up and always make sure they are clean and easily accessible.
If you’re on a motorway, you’ll only need one behind the vehicle so any approaching vehicle is aware you are stopped. As well as being a huge safety risk, failure to carry these could cost you a fine.
Also, you need to make sure that in the event of a puncture you’ll need a Spare Wheel or you could be fined if you get caught short. If you need help replacing the wheel you can dial the breakdown assistance of your insurance, which is something most people unknown.
